• •y atribucionesThe Automation Specialist, Finance drives end-to-end automation of finance and accounting processes within the Financial Shared Services Center. Starting from a structured process-improvement discipline
• •mapping current-state processes, identifying gaps, and redesigning them to be automation-ready
• •this role's core mandate is to eliminate manual work by building automations and applying models, primarily on the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and Dataverse). A defining part of the role is data transformation and modeling in service of automation: structuring, cleaning, and modeling finance data so it can reliably feed automated workflows, trigger logic, and AI models. This is not a reporting or dashboarding role
• •data work here exists to make automations smarter, more scalable, and more self-sufficient, not to produce analytics for its own sake.

• •CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
• •Map and diagnose finance and accounting processes (as-is), identifying manual steps, data-entry points, and structural gaps that block automation, using a defined process-improvement framework.
• •Redesign processes (to-be) so they are automation-ready
• •simplifying decision logic, standardizing inputs, and removing unnecessary manual handoffs before any build begins.
• •Design, build, and deploy automations primarily on the Microsoft Power Platform: Power Automate (cloud/desktop flows) for workflow orchestration, Power Apps for structured data capture, and Copilot Studio/AI Builder for AI-driven steps (document extraction, classification, anomaly detection, generative assistance).
• •Own data transformation and modeling as an automation enabler: build ETL/data-prep pipelines (Power Query, Dataflows, or equivalent), and shape source data so it is clean, structured, and ready to drive automated logic and AI models

• •Build the data models that power automation logic using DAX
• •calculated columns, measures, and relationships that drive thresholds, routing rules, validation checks, and decisioning inside automated workflows (not for reporting/visual output).
• •Build reusable data models and transformation logic (including DAX-based calculation layers) that let automations scale across multiple finance processes rather than being rebuilt one-off each time.
• •Establish exception-handling, validation, and control logic within automated workflows so processes remain auditable and compliant once manual steps are removed.
• •Pilot, test, and iterate automations with process owners; measure automation impact (volume automated, manual effort eliminated, error/exception rates) and use that data to refine the underlying models and transformations.
• •Maintain and prioritize a backlog of automation opportunities across the Finance Shared Services Center, sequencing by feasibility, data readiness, and expected reduction in manual effort.
• •Partner with IT/data teams on data source access, integration, and governance needed to feed automations reliably.

REQUISITOS

• •Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent hands-on experience or certifications in AI/automation will be considered.
• •Strong data transformation and modeling skills
• •able to design data structures/schemas and build ETL/data-prep logic that automations and AI models can consume reliably (not primarily for reporting).
• •Proficiency in DAX for building the calculation logic (measures, calculated columns, relationships) that drives automated decisioning
• •this is a core, hands-on requirement, not a peripheral skill.
• •Practical experience building on the Microsoft Power Platform: Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio/AI Builder, and Dataverse (or strong ability to ramp up quickly).
• •Comfortable working with data at the structural/pipeline level (Power Query, SQL, or similar) rather than only at the visualization layer.
• •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work cross-functionally with finance, accounting, and IT stakeholders. PREFERRED
• •Certification in Microsoft Power Platform (PL-100, PL-200, PL-300, or equivalent) or in AI/data (e.g., Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals).
• •Experience with SQL or Python as a complement to DAX for data transformation and automation logic.
• •Prior experience in a shared services, finance transformation, or automation/RPA-focused role.
• •Experience working within a multinational or telecommunications environment.
